The Big House

Tom Dey will direct The Big House for Warner Bros. Pictures, with Neil Moritz to produce through his Original Film production company. Variety says Elizabeth Kruger and Craig Shapiro are signed on to write the script, based on an original pitch.

In the family comedy, a hard-working family man's life improves when he's accused of a white-collar crime on the job.

Dey, whose credits include Disney's Shanghai Noon, is also directing Paramount's Failure to Launch, a romantic comedy starring Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew McConaughey.

Kruger and Shapiro are adapting Little Earthquakes, based on the book by Jennifer Weiner, for Universal and Double Feature Films. The duo is also adapting Caprice Crane's novel Forget About It for New Line, Kustom Entertainment and Cherry Road Films.
